'Mario Bros' Appear in Rio 2016 Olympics Closing


Rio de Janeiro - With the end of the Olympic Games 2016 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, as usual the host country gives the baton to the next host country, namely Toyko, Japan.

Not only that, the emergence of Abe with a distinctive character, namely Nintendo's Mario (in games Mario Bros) also boost the value of shares that Nintendo had.

Since appearing in the closing ceremony of the 2016 Olympic Games, Nintendo stock value in direct Nikkei jumped 3.5 percent.

"An extraordinary homage to Mario as a character that bridges the Rio Olympics Tokyo Olympics to come," said a spokesman for Nintendo, Yasuhiko Minagawa.

In addition to featuring Mario, some famous anime characters in Japan and the world appears in an ad Road to Tokyo Olympic 2020, as Captain Tsubasa and Doraemon.

Although not an official sponsor, Japanese games company is trying to take a moment Rio 2016 Olympics by launching the "Mario & Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games" for the Wii U.
